I am a recent graduate from Siegel High School with Honors, and will be attending Tennessee Technological University in August with a major in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
I have one year of in-classroom tutoring experience for Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Geometry, Algebra II, and Algebra I. I tutored one-on-one with any students that were falling behind or needed help with that day's lesson. I have taken all Advanced Honors and AP Math and Science courses available to me that I could fit in my schedule during high school. My scores on Math and Science AP exams are: Calculus BC (Calculus I & II) - 5 Statistics - 3 Chemistry - 4 I also took AP Biology, for which I did not take the test because it did not count towards my intended major. I consistently received high test scores in class, however. Other AP scores are: English Language and Composition - 5 U.S. History - 4 My highest ACT score is 33, with a superscore of 34. My highest SAT score is 1970, with a superscore of 2000. I also attended the Governor's School for Computational Physics, where I received 7 hours of math and physics credit for college. I love learning, and I hope I can inspire others to feel the same way I do!

Hobbies
I have played the violin for 10 years, learning classical methods. I have 9 years of orchestral experience with the violin, including the Murfreesboro Youth Orchestra, and the CURB Youth Symphony in Nashville. I am also self taught on the guitar. I have also practiced traditional origami for 9 years. Music and Art are an integral part of everone's lives, and I encourage everyone, young and old, to actively participate in some form!
